CHEROKEE COUNTY, GA. (THECOUNT) — Charles Lee Ingram, of Woodstock, Georgia, has been identified s the victim in a fatal Friday vehicle crash in Cherokee County.
Ingram, 20, was killed in a single-vehicle crash near Woodstock Friday morning.
According to reports, Ingram was operating a GMC Terrain on Interstate 75 near Woodstock Rd, when for unknown reasons, the vehicle crossed centerlines and exited the roadway Friday morning around 9 a.m. The vehicle then made contact with a substantial tree.
Two passengers occupying the vehicle were transported to area hospitals with serious injuries.
Ingram was pronounced dead of blunt force trauma injuries at the scene.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
