PITTSYLVANIA COUNTY, VA. (THECOUNT) — Wilda Clear, of Danville, Virginia, has been identified as the victim in a Thursday morning fatal two-vehicle crash in Pittsylvania County.
Clear, 65, was killed following a two-vehicle crash near Danville on Thursday morning.
According to reports, Clear was operating a vehicle on Piney Forest Road near Ash Street in Danville, when the vehicle was broadsided by another vehicle around 7:30 a.m. Thursday.
Clear was transported to an area hospital where she was later pronounced dead of blunt force trauma injuries.
The driver of the second vehicle suffered serious injuries.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
