PA Man Elias Alzaghtiti ID’d As Victim In Friday Allentown Fatal Motorcycle Crash

ALLENTOWN, PA. (THECOUNT) — Elias Alzaghtiti, 25, of Allentown, Pennsylvania, died Friday after a motorcycle crash involving a passenger vehicle at the intersection of Union Boulevard and North Graham Street in Allentown, according to the Lehigh County Coroner’s Office. Authorities said the driver of the other vehicle remained at the scene and was not injured.

Allentown is the largest city in Pennsylvania’s Lehigh Valley region, located in eastern Pennsylvania approximately 60 miles north of Philadelphia and 90 miles west of New York City. The collision occurred at the intersection of Union Boulevard and North Graham Street, a busy roadway on the city’s east side.

According to Lehigh County Coroner Dan Buglio, the crash occurred at approximately 9:00 a.m. Friday when the motorcycle operated by Alzaghtiti collided with a motor vehicle. Emergency responders transported him to Lehigh Valley Hospital–Muhlenberg, where he was pronounced dead at 9:43 a.m.

Investigators said Alzaghtiti was wearing a helmet at the time of the collision. Officials have not released additional details regarding the circumstances leading up to the crash or indicated whether any charges are anticipated.

The driver of the passenger vehicle was not injured and remained at the scene to cooperate with investigators, according to authorities.

An autopsy is scheduled for Monday at the Lehigh County Coroner’s Office & Forensic Center to assist in determining the official cause and manner of death.

Buglio said the fatal collision marks the ninth motorcycle-related death investigated by the Lehigh County Coroner’s Office in 2026. During the same period in 2025, the county recorded five motorcycle fatalities.

The Allentown Police Department, the Lehigh County Coroner’s Office and the Lehigh County District Attorney’s Office continue to investigate the fatal crash.
