NEW YORK, NY. (THECOUNT) — The Mets have put out an APB on Cuban slugger, Yoenis Cespedes, who is missing from the lineup against the Atlanta Braves today.
According to reports, Cespedes did not arrive at Citi Field and all attempts to contact him have been unsuccessful, says Luis Rojas.
Mets statement:
“As of game time, Yoenis Céspedes has not reported to the ballpark today. He did not reach out to management with any explanation for his absence. Our attempts to contact him have been unsuccessful.”
