ANOKA COUNTY, MN. (THECOUNT) — Michael Thomas Mccauley, of East Bethel, Minnesota, has been identified as the victim in a motorcycle collision Wednesday morning in Anoka County.
Mccauley, 63, was operating a motorcycle when he was killed in a collision with a pickup truck Wednesday morning near East Bethel.
According to reports, Mccauley was operating a motorcycle on Hwy 65 near Viking Boulevard Northeast in East Bethel, when the bike came into contact with a flatbed pickup truck hauling a trailer Wednesday morning.
McCauley was pronounced dead at the scene of blunt force trauma injuries.
The pickup operator 65-year-old Stephen E. Notsch, of Big Lake, Minn., was not injured in the collision.
The cause of the deadly incident remains under investigation.
