Pedro Tellez ID’d As Pedestrian Fatally Struck Tuesday By Hit-And-Run Vehicle In Lillington NC

HARNETT COUNTY, NC. (THECOUNT) — Pedro Tellez has been identified as the pedestrian in a Tuesday morning fatal hit-and-run vehicle strike in Harnett County, North Carolina.

Tellez, 49, was struck and killed by a hit-and-run vehicle near Lillington early Tuesday morning.

According to reports, Tellez was on-foot in the area of Jim Christian Road and U.S. Highway 421 in Lillington, when he was struck by a vehicle that then fled the scene.

Officials offered no vehicle description.

Anyone with possible information should contact police at 911.

The cause of the fatal incident remains under investigation.
