JEFFERSON COUNTY, KY. (THECOUNT) — Kaleb Fogle of Louisville, Kentucky, has been identified as the victim in a Monday afternoon fatal multi-vehicle crash in Jefferson County.
Fogle, 19, was killed in a four-vehicle crash near Elizabethtown Monday afternoon.
According to reports, Fogle was operating a vehicle on US-62 near Magnet Drive, when for unknown reasons, the vehicle crossed centerlines and into opposing traffic around 3:30 p.m. Monday. The vehicle then made contact with a pickup truck and an SUV. The force of the crash caused the pickup to rollover into another vehicle.
Fogle was transported to an area hospital where he was later pronounced dead of blunt force trauma injuries.
The driver of the SUV was transported to an area hospital in critical condition.
No one else was injured.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
