LAKE COUNTY, IN. (THECOUNT) — Christopher Boswinkle, of Highland, Indiana, has been identified as the victim in a Saturday fatal bicycle collision in Lake County.
Chris Boswinkle, 49, was killed in a bicycle collision involving a tow truck near Gary Saturday night.
According to reports, Boswinkle was operating a bicycle in the area of Interstate 94 and Burr Street, when the bike came into contact with a tow truck on the Borman Expressway around 9 p.m. Saturday.
Boswinkle was pronounced dead at the scene of apparent blunt force trauma injuries.
The cause of the deadly incident remains under investigation.
