GALVESTON COUNTY, TX. (THECOUNT) — The body of Kent Zavala, the Galveston firefighter who went missing following a Sunday night vehicle crash, has been recovered.
Texas EquuSearch confirmed that the body of the 20-year-old firefighter had been located round 6:30 a.m. Tuesday.
Zavala went missing after a vehicle crash on the Galveston Causeway Sunday evening.
“We ask that everyone keep his family and friends in your thoughts and prayers at this time,” EquuSearch posted on Facebook.
