GREENE COUNTY, MO. (THECOUNT) — Kelly Lane Hargis, of Conway, Missouri, has been identified as the victim in a Wednesday afternoon single-vehicle crash in Greene County.
Hargis, 19, was killed in a single-vehicle crash near Springfield Wednesday afternoon.
According to reports, Hargis was operating a vehicle on W Farm Road 102 in Springfield, Missouri, when the vehicle crossed centerlines and exited the roadway Wednesday afternoon. The vehicle then made contact with a tree and a utility pole.
Hargis was pronounced dead at the scene of blunt force trauma injuries.
A 16-year-old passenger in the vehicle was not injured in the wreck.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
