BAXTER COUNTY, AR. (THECOUNT) — Yvette Stroud of Henderson, Arkansas, and Norra Haddock of Salem, Arkansas, have been identified as the victims in a double-fatal vehicle crash in Baxter County Tuesday night.
Yvette Marie Thompson, aka, Stroud, 37, and 41-year-old Haddock, were both killed in a two-vehicle crash that also seriously injured a child near Henderson.
According to reports, Haddock was operating a Ford vehicle on US-62, near Crystal Cove Resort in Henderson, when for unknown reasons, the vehicle crosse centerlines and into opposing lanes around 8:30 p.m. Tuesday. The vehicle then came into head-on contact with Stroud’s Toyota.
Stroud and Haddock were pronounced dead at the scene of blunt force trauma injuries. A child in Stroud’s vehicle was transported to an area hospital in unknown condition.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
