WASHINGTON COUNTY, PA. (THECOUNT) — Kacey Shuba and Garrett Delvecchio have been identified as the young woman and man killed in an early Wednesday morning single-vehicle crash in Washington County, Pennsylvania.
Shuba, 20, and 21-year-old Delvecchio, both of Washington, died in a single-vehicle crash near Chartiers Township early Wednesday.
According to reports, Shuba was operating a vehicle on Paxton Farm Road in Chartiers Township, when for unknown reasons, the vehicle crossed centerlines and exited the roadway overnight. The vehicle then made contact with a substantial tree and rolled over.
Both occupants of the vehicle were pronounced dead at the scene of blunt force trauma injuries.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
