DAVIDSON COUNTY, NC. (THECOUNT) — Austin Cranford, of Lexington, North Carolina, has been identified as the victim in a Monday night fatal motorcycle crash in Davidson County.
Cranford, 20, was killed in a collision involving a vehicle near Lexington Monday night.
According to reports, Cranford was operating a Yamaha motorcycle on West Old Highway 64 near Forest Hill Road in Lexington, when the bike collided with a minivan operated by a 60-year-old Lexington woman around 7:30 p.m. Monday.
Cranford was pronounced dead at the scene of blunt force trauma injuries.
It is unclear if anyone else was injured in the collision.
No one was cited at the scene.
