LINN COUNTY, OR. (THECOUNT) — Brian Scott Beveridge, of Scappoose, Oregon, has been identified as the victim in a fatal Sunday morning tow-vehicle crash in Linn County.
Beveridge, 48, was killed im a two-vehicle crash near Idanha, Oregon early Sunday morning.
According to officials, Beveridge was operating a Subaru Legacy on Highway 22E near Minto Road east of Idanha, when for unknown reason, the vehicle crossed centerlines and into opposing lanes. The Subaru then came into head-on contact with a Nissan Frontier, operated by Matthew Baker, 49, of Bend around 1:30 a.m. Sunday.
Baker was transported to an area hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Beveridge was pronounced dead at the scene of blunt force trauma injuries.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
