COLUMBUS, OH. (THECOUNT) — Anthony A. Giannini Jr., of Columbus, Ohio, has been identified as the victim in a fatal single-vehicle crash in Columbus on Monday night.
Giannini, 49, was killed in a single-vehicle crash on Interstate 71 in Columbus Monday night.
According to officials, Giannini was operating a vehicle on I-71 near Morse Road, when for unknown reasons, the vehicle crossed centerlines and exited the roadway around 5 p.m. Monday. The vehicle then came into contact with a grouping of trees.
Giannini, who was ejected from the vehicle during the crash, was pronounced dead at the scene of blunt force trauma injuries.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
