WICOMICO COUNTY, MD. (THECOUNT) — Michael Joseph Robinson, of Silver Spring, Maryland, has been identified as the victim in a fatal Tuesday morning crash in Wicomico County.
Robinson, 61, was killed in a single-vehicle crash early Tuesday morning near Salisbury.
According to officials, Robinson was operating a Ford pickup on US-50 near Rockawalkin Road in Hebron, when for unknown reasons, he crossed centerlines and exited the roadway around 2 a.m. Tuesday. The vehicle then entered a culvert and rolled over.
Robinson, who was the sole occupant of the vehicle, was pronounced dead at the scene of blunt force trauma injuries.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
