SAN ANTONIO, TX. (THECOUNT) — Damion Terrellblue Campbell, of San Antonio, Texas, has been identified as the suspect arrested in the unprovoked stabbing death of barber shop employee, Evan O’Regan.
According to reports, O’Regan, 20, was working at a San Antonio barber shop along with two other employees, when Campbell walked in requesting a reservation. At some point, Campbell left the establishment and returned toting a backpack, gun and a knife.
For unknown reasons, Campbell then attacked O’Regan, choking him unconscious, before stabbing him multiple times. Campbell then attacked a female employee, who was also stabbed, but was able to escape the scene. A third employee fled the scene uninjured.
The barber shop is located on Bandera Road near North Loop 1604 in San Antonio.
Police were able to identify Campbell using computer records and surveillance video. He was taken into custody Wednesday evening and charged with murder.
The cause of the fatal incident remains under investigation.
