AUBURN, IL. (THECOUNT) — Obaidah Gresham of Auburn, Illinois, has been identified as the pedestrian fatally struck by a vehicle on Monday morning.
Gresham, 62, was killed Monday in a vehicle crash at a Casey’s Convenience-store around 11 a.m. Monday morning in Auburn.
According to reports, Gresham exited her vehicle and was on-foot in the parking lot at Casey’s, located at 820 Lincoln St in Auburn, when she was fatally struck by a dump truck that had failed to negotiate a turn.
An autopsy is scheduled for Wednesday.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
