WALKER COUNTY, AL. (THECOUNT) — Christopher Herrington of Baxley, Georgia, has been identified as the victim in a fatal single-vehicle semi-tractor crash on Interstate 22 in Walker County, Alabama Thursday.
Herrington, 41, was killed in a single big-rig crash near Jasper, Alabama early Thursday morning.
According to reports, Herrington was operating a International truck on I-22 in Walker County, when for unknown reasons, the vehicle crossed centerlines and exited the roadway around 5 a.m. Thursday. The vehicle then rolled over.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
