CHICAGO, IL. (THECOUNT) — Abigail Rogel and Kenneth Gunn, have been identified as the victims in a double-fatal high-speed crash in Chicago on Thursday.
Rogel, 14 and 56-year-old Gunn, were both killed in a crash that also critically injured three others on the South Side Thursday night.
According to officials, a teenage driver of a Chevy Avalanche, traveling on 69th near the Dan Ryan Expressway, ran a red light before colliding with a Toyota that was turning left around 10:45 p.m. Thursday.
The Toyota driver and two other passengers were critically injured.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
