NEW YORK, NY. (THECOUNT) — Anthony Causi, a longtime photographer for The Post, died in New York Sunday of complications of coronavirus.
Causi, 48, passed away at North Shore University Hospital after contracting COVID-19.

“Anthony Causi was our colleague, our pal and a fantastic journalist,” Steve Lynch, The Post’s editor in chief, claimed. “He was, really only, one of the ideal sporting activities photographers in New York Metropolis, capturing all the major moments of the past 25 years. Comfortable-spoken, funny, but most of all variety — he was highly regarded by those he photographed and admired by all those with whom he worked.
“The Article that you read through, and the newsroom that we do the job in, are significantly less colourful nowadays because of his absence. Our hearts go out to his household, and we share their grief.”
A Brooklyn native, Causi joined The Write-up in 1994 as a photo messenger, graduated to image editor and at some point became a comprehensive-time journalist photographer, which he referred to as the attainment of a desire. In that function, he chronicled the highs and lows of the Yankees, Mets, Giants, Jets, Knicks, Nets and additional for The Put up.
Causi is survived by his wife, Romina, and their children, John and Mia.
