MINERAL COUNTY, MT. (THECOUNT) — The body of missing Billings, Montana man, Jacob Hogsett, has been located Friday in Mineral County.
“Jake” Hogsett, 35, was found deceased after being reported missing from the Billings area March 6.
According to the Mineral County Sheriff’s Office, Search & Rescue crews searched from Tarkio to Superior.
Hogsett’s vehicle was eventually located near a gated neighborhood by a caretaker tasked with watching the property.
Hogsett was located floating in the Clark Fork River. Officials say it appears he may have fallen off a cliff into the river.
The body has been sent to Montana Crime lab for an autopsy.
