VANCOUVER, WA. (THECOUNT) — Elizabeth Dunlap of Vancouver, Washington, has been identified as the victim in a fatal motorcycle crash Thursday night.
Dunlap, 52, died following a motorcycle crash in Vancouver on Thursday night.
According to the Clark County Sheriff’s office, Dunlap was operating a motorcycle on Northeast Ward Road near Northeast 76th Street, when for unknown reasons, the bike struck a median around 7:30 p.m. Thursday.
Dunlap was thrown from the bike and collided with a substantial tree.
An adult male also riding a motorcycle also went down after coming into contact with Dunlap’s bike.
He was injured however refused medical aid.
Dunlap was pronounced dead at the scene of blunt force trauma injuries.
Excessive speed is believed to be a contributing factor in the crash, according to CCSO.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
