MD Man Shot Dead On Facebook Live During ‘Hide & Seek’ Game At Baltimore Airbnb House Party

BALTIMORE, MD. (THECOUNT) — Ernest Wilson, of Baltimore, Maryland, has been identified as the victim in a fatal house party shooting Saturday night.

Wilson, 24, was streaming on Facebook Live, when he was killed in a shooting while throwing a pay-to-play house party at an Airbnb Saturday night in Baltimore.

According to police, Wilson was live streaming while playing a game of hide and seek early Saturday, when suddenly an attacker can be seen climbing over the fence of the home, located in the 1100 South Charles Street in Baltimore. At some point Wilson was fatally wounded by gunfire.

The motive in the incident is being called a robbery.

According to Wilson’s Facebook, he routinely hosted parties around the city, and began his Facebook Live video by telling people to reach out to him if they wanted to attend. In another post earlier that night, he wrote that there were only 15 people there and invited more to come for “only $5.”

Wilson was conducting the party despite Maryland’s stay-at-home order that bans gatherings of more than 10 people during the coronavirus outbreak.

Friends and family members took to Facebook to remember Wilson:

Officials provided no suspect information.

Anyone with possible information on the deadly incident should contact police at 911.
