SARPY COUNTY, NE. (THECOUNT) — Rick Leinbaugh, of Omaha, Nebraska, has been identified as the victim in a fatal Sunday evening motorcycle crash in Sarpy County.
Leinbaugh, 56, was killed in a motorcycle crash near Springfield late afternoon Sunday.
According to the Sarpy County Sheriff’s Office, Leinbaugh was operating a Harley Davidson motorcycle on Highway 31 near Springfield, when for unknown reasons, the bike crossed centerlines and exited the roadway around 4:30 p.m. Sunday.
Leinbaugh was pronounced dead at the scene of blunt force trauma injuries.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
