MIFFLIN TOWNSHIP, OH. (THECOUNT) — Daniel Gibson of Columbus, Ohio, has been identified as the pedestrian fatally struck by a vehicle Thursday night in Mifflin Township.
Gibson, 33, was fatally struck in a hit-and-run vehicle strike near Columbus Thursday night.
According to reports, Gibson was on-foot in the area of Agler Road and Perdue Avenue in Mifflin Township, when he was struck by a white sedan that then fled the scene.
Gibson was transported to an area hospital where he was later pronounced dead of blunt force trauma injuries.
Officials are actively searching for the involved car and driver.
