BURLINGTON, NC. (THECOUNT) — Juan Martin Basurto, of Burlington, North Carolina, has been identified as the victim in a fatal single-vehicle rollover crash Monday night.
Basurto, 24, was killed following a rollover crash in Burlington Monday night.
According to Burlington officials, Basurto was operating a vehicle traveling on North Church Street and South Sellars Mill Road in Burlington around 9:15 p.m. Monday, when for unknown reasons, the vehicle crossed centerlines and exited the roadway. The vehicle then overturned.
Basurto was pronounced dead at the scene of blunt force trauma injuries.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
