NOKOMIS, FL. (THECOUNT) — Joseph A. Spratt of Port Charlotte, Florida, has been identified as the victim killed in a Thursday night motorcycle crash in Nokomis.
“Joe” Spratt, 39, was killed in a motorcycle crash in Nokomis Thursday night.
According to the FHP, Spratt was operating a Honda motorcycle on Casey Key Road near Sea Grape Point Road, when he failed to negotiate a curve around 10 p.m. Thursday. The bike then made contact with a raised curb and struck a large rock throwing Spratt.
According to a crash report, Spratt was wearing a helmet at the time of the crash.
According to Facebook, Spratt was a service advisor at Sunset Dodge Chrysler Jeep Ram FIAT.
