DELTA TOWNSHIP, MI. (THECOUNT) — Diane Romain, of Caro, Michigan, has been identified as the victim killed in a two-vehicle crash in Delta Charter Township Monday morning.

Romain, 77, was killed in a Monday morning two-vehicle crash in Delta Township.

According to reports, Romain was operating a vehicle on West Saginaw Highway when she attempted to turn onto Interstate 96. The vehicle then collided with another vehicle around 6:30 a.m. Monday.

Eaton County Sheriff’s Office spokesperson Jerri Nesbitt said she wasn’t aware of any other serious injuries sustained in the crash, reports LansingStateJournal.

Police said they believe speed and alcohol may have been factors in the crash.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
