FL Woman Amanda Petty Brown ID’d As Victim In Fatal Saturday Single-Vehicle Lake City Crash

LAKE CITY, FL. (THECOUNT) — Amanda Petty Brown, of Lake City, Florida, has been identified as the victim in an early Saturday single-vehicle crash.

Brown, 45, died in a single-vehicle crash on SW Douberley Ct., near FL-47, in Lake City, Florida Saturday morning.

According to officials, Brown was operating a new model Chevy Camaro on SW Douberley Ct, when she failed to negotiate a turn and exited the roadway. The vehicle then entered a culvert causing it to roll over multiple times. The vehicle came to a rest in the wood line after making contact with a utility pole.

Brown was pronounced dead at the scene of multiple blunt force trauma injuries.

Brown was not wearing a seatbelt.

It is unknown at this time whether alcohol played a role in the crash, reports LakeCityReporter.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
