HERSHEY, NE. (THECOUNT) — Michael Krough, of Colorado Springs, has been identified as the victim in a two-vehicle crash involving a big-rig on Friday morning, according to reports.
Krough, 57, was killed in a two-vehicle crash on I-80 Friday near Hershey.
According to officials, Krough was operating a Ford Ranger pickup, when for unknown reasons, the vehicle veered off the highway and into opposing lanes. The vehicle then struck an 18-wheeler traveling on I-80 around 11:30 a.m. Friday.
Krough was pronounced dead at the scene of multiple blunt force trauma injuries.
The semi driver was uninjured in the violent crash.
NSP says weather conditions were a factor in the crash, reports 3newsNow.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
