RECTOR, AR. (THECOUNT) — Josh Brian Lucy, of Marmaduke, Arkansas, has been identified as the victim in a fatal single-vehicle crash near Rector Friday night.
Lucy, 29, was killed Friday evening in a single-vehicle crash near the Greene/Clay County line, according to Arkansas State Police.
Reports say, Lucy was operating a Kia Sportage on Greene County Road 434 near Clay CR-406 around 7:40 p.m. Friday, when for unknown reasons, the vehicle crossed centerlines and exited the roadway. The vehicle then made contact with a substantial tree before coming to a rest.
The weather was raining and the roads were wet at the time of the crash, reports KAIT.
According to social media, Lucy was a personal care aide at Preferred Home Care.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
