LAWRENCE, MA. (THECOUNT) — A Lawrence, Mass, city worker was shot and killed Wednesday afternoon while on the job.
The Essex District Attorney is investigating the broad daylight shooting that left a Lawrence city worker dead.
Police in Lawrence were called to the area of Andover and Clifton streets around 2 p.m. Wednesday for a reported shooting. Officers say a Lawrence Department of Public Works employee was doing road repair when he was shot and killed, reports Boston25.
His identity has not yet been released.
Police are investigating the shooting. No information on a suspect was released.
