BREWTON, AL. (THECOUNT) — Rodney Blake Colvin, of Brewton, Alabama, has been identified as the victim in a fatal single-vehicle crash Monday.
Colvin, 31, was killed Monday afternoon in a single-vehicle wreck on US-31 around 1 p.m. Monday, report Alabama State Law Enforcement troopers Tuesday morning.
According to officials, Colvin was operating a Chevrolet Camaro on US-31, when for unknown reasons, the vehicle crossed centerlines and exited the roadway. The vehicle then made contact with a substantial tree before coming to a rest.
Colvin was pronounced dead at the scene of multiple blunt force trauma injuries.
He was not wearing a seatbelt, reports WKRG.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
