GREENE COUNTY, OH. (THECOUNT) — Lebriska Power, of Kettering, Ohio, has been identified as the victim in a fatal New Year’s Day crash in Greene County, according to reports.
“Briska” Powers, 41, died in a single-vehicle crash Wednesday morning on US-35.
According to the Ohio State Highway Patrol, Powers was operating Ford Escape on US-35, when for unknown reasons, the vehicle crossed centerlines and exited the roadway around 6 a.m. Wednesday. The vehicle then entered a culvert causing it to roll over.
Powers was the sole occupant of the vehicle, reports Dayton247Now.
Powers was pronounced dead at the scene of multiple blunt force trauma injuries.
Troopers say she was wearing her seatbelt at the time of the violent crash.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
