LAKE CHARLES, LA. (KPLC) – Louis C. McGlone of Sulphur, Louisiana, has been arrested Thursday and is facing up to 15 years in prison over skateboarding down a Lake Charles bridge last Sunday, authorities say.
McGlone, 26, was arrested along with, Lindsey Hulett, 34, of Lake Charles, on Thursday morning. Hulett is said to have filmed the stunt.
McGlone an Hulett were both charged with one count of aggravated obstruction of a highway of commerce. They has since been released after posting $10,000 bond.
A video of the act, posted to McGlone’s Facebook page on Sunday, was was shot from Hulett’s vehicle, which followed the skateboarder down the 210 bridge, while a few vehicles passed by.
This law prohibits the performance of any act on a highway wherein it is foreseeable that human life might be endangered, Senegal said in a news release.
A conviction carries up to a 15-year prison sentence, reports KPLC.
“The video showed the creation of a hazardous situation for the participants as well as motorists on the bridge,” Senegal said.
No one was injured during the incident.
