COLLEGE PARK, MD. (THECOUNT) — Zanib Naveed has been identified as the victim in a fatal vehicle crash in College Park, Maryland, on Sunday, according to reports.
Naveed, 32, from Pomona, New York, was killed in a single-vehicle rollover ejection crash late Sunday.
Naveed was operating a vehicle traveling on the Inter-County Connector late Sunday when she attempted to take a curve to Route 1. Investigators say the car struck the curb and overturned onto the northbound lanes of Route 1.
Authorities say Naveed was ejected from the vehicle during the violent crash, reports lohud.
Naveed was pronounced dead at the scene of multiple blunt force trauma injuries.
An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
