WYOMING, MI. (THECOUNT) — Authorities have identified, Charlotte Stein of Wyoming, Michigan, as the pedestrian struck and killed by a vehicle while in the Costco parking lot in Wyoming, according to Wednesday reports.

Stein, 73, of Crestview Dr, was identified as the victim hit by a car while near the Costco Tire Center on Wilson Ave Tuesday, confirmed the Wyoming Department of Public Safety.

The Kent County Sheriff’s Department said Stein was on-foot across the parking lot near the Costco Tire Center when she was struck by a vehicle that was performing a turn.

Officials said when they arrived, Stein was pinned under the car and suffered cardiac arrest when she was freed.

Investigators said speed and alcohol were not considered to be a factor in the crash, reports WOOD.

WDPS said the cause of the crash remains under investigation.
