TX Man Christopher Alan Noe ID’d As Suspect Shot Dead Tuesday In Houston Police-Involved Shooting

WILLIS, TX. (THECOUNT) — Christopher Alan Noe, of 14493 Enchanted Waters Drive, in Willis, TX, has been identified as the Texas man shot dead in a police-involved shooting in Houston on Tuesday night, according to Wednesday morning reports.

Noe, 45, who allegedly led deputies on a chase north of Houston, was shot and killed after he allegedly pulled a knife on officers.

The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office said it was about 9 p.m. Tuesday when a deputy tried to stop a white Ford Explorer on Highway 105. The driver, later identified as Noe, refused to stop and sped up to over 100 mph.

Noe then traveled through a subdivision and got on I-45, losing the deputies.

Deputies said they used the suspect’s license plate records to track down the vehicle at his residence where he lived with his mother.

An initial search at the home turned up only the suspect’s mother, but eventually Noe was located as well, reports KHOU.

Deputies said Noe brandished a knife while moving toward officers.

Officers unsuccessfully deployed a Taser.

At that point, at least 3 officers opened fire fatally striking Noe.

Noe was pronounced dead at the scene of multiple gunshot injuries.

Noe was initially accused of “illegal dumping” in Harris County.
