COLUMBUS, OH. (THECOUNT) — Jordon Jennings, of Columbus, Ohio, has been identified as the Columbus man shot in the chest while sleeping in a Westside park on Saturday afternoon, according to reports.
Jennings, 36, was found suffering from at least one gunshot injury to the chest while he was napping in a park around 3 p.m. Saturday.
He was transported to a Delaware, Ohio, hospital in stable condition.
Jennings arrived at Grady Memorial Hospital in Delaware at about 3 p.m. suffering from a gunshot wound to the chest, according to the Columbus Division of Police, as reported by NBC4i on Sunday morning.
Jennings was later transported to an area hospital in stable condition.
The circumstances of the shooting and the incident are still under investigation, a police report said.
