CANTON, OH. (THECOUNT) — Sarena Hall has been identified as the Canton, Ohio mother arrested by federal agents who say she knowingly allowed a 64-year-old “friend of the family,” to sexually abuse her two underage daughters “for a few years,” say authorities.
Marion Stang was arrested by federal agents and charged with two counts of rape and gross sexual imposition in the repeated rape of Hall’s girls – who are both reportedly under the age of 10.
Hall, 27, was taken into custody on an outstanding warrant charging her with two counts of felony endangering children. Her arrest came 1-hour after Stang was taken into custody by federal agents.
Law enforcement officers arrested Stang at his home in Canton on Thursday morning.
Prosecutors say that Hall was aware of Stang’s sexual abuse of her female children yet she still allowed him to have alone time with them over a period of “a few years,” say officials.
The abuse allegedly went on ‘for a few years’ until Child Protective Services in Summit County, Ohio, received an anonymous tip, reports DailyMail on Saturday.
The tip triggered a criminal investigation, which resulted in the arrest of Stang and Hall.
Both were being held without bond at Stark County Jail on Friday.
On Facebook, Hall describes herself as a “stay at home mom.”
Anyone with possible additional information on this case may contact police at 911.
