Linda Hamilton ‘Would Not Answer Cameron Calls’ Until Reassured It Was ‘Business Related’

HOLLYWOOD, CA. (THECOUNT) — Linda Hamilton, who stars in the new Terminator flick, Dark Fate, claimed while appearing on BBC One The Graham Norton Show on Friday, that she ignored calls from the movie’s mega-producer James Cameron, until he made it clear he wanted to discuss the work.

Hamilton, 63, who was once married to the Avatar director back in the 1990s, told Norton: “We don’t talk at all. He rang three times and it was only on the third call when he mentioned it was about work that I rang him back!”

The actress, who incidentally revealed that she is going on “at least” 15 years celibate, added: “It took me a little while to decide if I had something more to do with her character.”

Oh course, Terminator: Dark Fate would be made with Hamilton as its star, along with the Titanic director, Arnold and – a heap of boob and bottom padding – Not for Schwarzenegger or the Aliens director, but custom made for the returning Mrs Connor.

“She was made to wear bottom and breast padding for the latest movie – despite working out and dieting a year before shooting began,” reports Yahoo.

While appearing on Norton alongside ‘true to his word’ Schwarzenegger, the potty mouthed actress said:

“I would take pictures of my t**s and a** when I would get up in the morning and I’d get into my trailer and send it to my kids – ‘t**s, a**’ they we are – we’re going to be fine.”

“I Leaned out, worked for a year. Didn’t have carbohydrates for a year, then I show up on set and they were like ‘well we have to build you a butt’ – which is interesting after a year of working out and leaning down they had to actually add ass.

It is the first starring role Hamilton has had in a Terminator flick since 1991’s Terminator 2: Judgement Day. In 1996 she was involved in T2-3D: Battle Across Time, an attraction at Universal Studios Japan.

Hamilton first played the now iconic role of “Sarah Connor” in the 1984 movie, The Terminator. Oh and there was her role in Children of the Corn and Celebrity Skin Part 2. Check out a full list of Linda Hamilton films on IMDB.

The billion dollar Terminator franchise was created by Cameron who helmed the directing role in the first two movies.

But if you’re thinking Hamilton reprised her role in Terminator just to make a quick buck, think again, the actress is worth at least $70 million, according to CelebrityNetWorth, with at least $50M of that coming from her divorce settlement with Deep Sea Challenge producer, Cameron.

Via CelebrityNetWorth:

“Linda Hamilton net worth: Linda Hamilton is an American actress who has a net worth of $70 million. Linda Hamilton fell in love with acting at the age of 10, when she portrayed the role of Badger in a staging of The Wind in the Willows. She continued to learn the craft at the Lee Strasberg Theatre Institute and after she completed her training embarked on an acting career that includes both TV and movie appearances. Hamilton rose to fame as Sarah Connor, the mother-to-be of humanity’s last hope in James Cameron’s action movie Terminator (1984). Next, she appeared in the lushly romantic urban TV fantasy “Beauty and the Beast” (CBS, 1987-1990) opposite Ron Perlman, for which she was nominated for two Golden Globes and an Emmy. In 1991 she impressed movie audiences once again with her incredible muscular physique – as the ultimate warrior woman in 1991’s action movie Terminator 2: Judgment Day. Apart from acting, she made headlines with her short-lived marriage to (and then lucrative divorce from) James Cameron, with whom she has one daughter. As for her biggest impact ever, it is Hamilton’s role of a loud advocate for mental illness issues, having publicly revealed her lifelong struggle with bipolar disorder.”
