BOERNE, TX. (THECOUNT) — A woman died Saturday and several more were hurt after the roof of a home collapsed at the Los Indios Ranch in Boerne, Texas, according to reports.
Authorities say several persons became trapped under the debris Saturday afternoon after a roof collapse at a residence in the 300 block of Los Indios Ranch Rd, near Bergheim.
Remodeling work caused the roof’s collapse, according to Kendall County Emergency Management Coordinator Jeff Fincke, reports MySanAntonio.
The identity of the woman who was pronounced dead, has not been released by police.
Four other people were transported to an area hospital in unknown condition, officials said.
Two other people were rescued and uninjured.
