KCK Bar Shooter Javier Alatorre In Custody Hugo Villanueva-Morales Still On The Loose

KANSAS CITY, MO. (THECOUNT) — The two men opened fire inside a bar in Kansas City, Kansas, early Sunday, killing four people and wounding five others, have been identified as, Hugo Villanueva-Morales, 29, and 23-year-old Javier Alatorre. Both have been charged with four counts of first-degree murder and bond has been set at $1,000,000 each.

Alatorre was taken into custody Sunday afternoon near the 2600 block of Quincy Street in Kansas City, Missouri, with the assistance from the FBI, ATF, and the Kansas City Police Department, reports KCTV5.

Villanueva-Morales is still at large and should be considered armed and dangerous. You call 911 or the TIPS Hotline if you see him or know of his whereabouts. Police advise you to not approach him.

Kansas City Police are reportedly reviewing “inside surveillance” video captured at the time of a mass shooting occurring inside a Kansas City bar early Sunday morning, according to reports.

At the same time, authorities warned that more than one person may have been involved in carrying out the horrific incident that left at least 9 people shot, four of those dead.

CNN reported Sunday morning that police say they are searching for two possible suspects based on witness testimony, according to an official.

KCPD is “trying to talk to as many witnesses as we can from the bar” but “stories vary a lot,” a source told CNN.

On Sunday morning, at least one suspect walked into the Kansas City bar early Sunday morning and opened fire, according to the Kansas City Police Department.

The suspect or suspect have not yet been described or detained, reports WMUR on Sunday morning.
