OCONEE COUNTY, SC. (THECOUNT) — Crystal Gail Holbrooks, of Walhalla, South Carolina, has been identified as the victim killed in an ejection crash near Westminster Saturday night, according to reports.

State troopers say, Holbrooks, 47, was killed following a crash that also ejected the driver of an SUV that overturned Saturday night.

Troopers said the crash happened around 7 p.m. on Highway 76 near Cobb Bridge Road near Westminster, according to WYFF4.

Troopers said the SUV was traveling near Cobb Bridge Road, when for unknown reasons, it crossed centerlines and exited the roadway, near Ramsey Creek Preserve.

The SUV then overcorrected and overturned causing it to rollover over several times.

Both the driver and passenger were ejected, according to state troopers.

Troopers said the Holbrooks died at the scene and the driver was airlifted to a hospital with unknown injuries.

Neither of the victims was wearing a seat belt, state troopers said.
