COLORADO SPRINGS, CO. (THECOUNT) — KRDO Sports Director Rob Namnoum suffered a heart attack Monday and is recovering after undergoing surgery. He underwent emergency surgery Monday to put in a stint, and he’s being monitored closely.
Doctors say Namnoum, 46, who has been with KRDO for 20 years, is expected to make a full recovery, according to the station.
Rob and his family want to thank everyone for all of their thoughts, prayers, and continued support during his recovery.
“He wants everyone to know that he is OK and will be coming back — he’s even been sending text messages to KRDO Sports Reporter Danny Mata about this week’s Friday Night Blitz,” reports KRDO.
