MONTGOMERY, AL. (THECOUNT) — Tyriq Moon has been identified as the Montgomery, Alabama man fatally shot on Madison Avenue Thursday night, according to reports.
Moon, 20, was killed in a shooting on Madison Avenue, near Lee High School on Thursday night, the Montgomery Police Department said Thursday.
Police responded to a call of shots fired in the 2200 block of Madison Avenue around 9:20 p.m. Thursday. When they arrived, they found Moon suffering from at least one gunshot wound.
He was pronounced dead at the scene of gunshot injuries.
Police are investigating the shooting as a homicide and say the circumstances are under investigation.
No one has been arrested in the case, reports WSFA.
