OCONEE COUNTY, SC. (THECOUNT) — Trapper ‘Trap’ Freeman has been identified as the South Carolina man killed in a motorcycle crash on Friday night in Oconee County, SC, according to the Oconee County Coroner.
Freeman, 38, died after the motorcycle he was operating crashed Thursday night around 11 p.m. in Westminster.
Freeman was traveling on Dr. Johns Road near Brock Road in Westminster, when for unknown reasons, his motorcycle crossed centerlines and exited the roadway.
The bike then struck a fence, toppling the vehicle and ejecting Freeman.
The coroner noted the victim was wearing a helmet at the time of the violent crash.
Freeman was pronounced dead of multiple blunt force trauma injuries.
Freeman’s death is classified as accidental, reports WWYF on Saturday morning.
