SIDNEY, ME. (THECOUNT) — A heavy state police presence in was spotted in Sidney, Maine Friday.
State police spokesman Steve McCausland would not specify what type of incident it is, but said it is “not a drill.”
A long line State police cruisers could be seen lining Richard Road, near Middle Road, in Sidney on Friday.
A viewer sent photos of several state police cruisers lining Richard Road Friday afternoon, as well as officials in camouflage gear, reports WMTW.
Officials would not say if any roads in the area are closed.
