MOSES LAKE, WA. (THECOUNT) — Jackie Baker has been identified as the victim killed in a motorcycle-versus-pickup crash Thursday in Moses Lake.
Baker, 51, was operating a motorcycle near Moses Lake when he came into contact with a pickup truck driven by 28-year-old Moises Valle.
Reports say, Valle was attempting to perform a left hand turn on onto Road 7 N.E. when he collided with Baker who was traveling on Stratford Road N.E.
Baker was pronounced dead at the scene of multiple blunt force trauma injuries.
He was wearing a helmet at the time of the collision.
Valle was not injured in the crash.
Valle was wearing his seatbelt, according to Spokesman.
Excessive speed nor impairment played a factor in the deadly collision, the sheriff’s office said.
The incident remains under investigation.
